Dear Boterekwa Marathon Runners,
We would like to inform our Boterekwa Marathon Runners due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to postpone this year's marathon event which was due to be held on Saturday May 25 2013 from Shurugwi to Gweru. Just like all the participants, we're disappointed that the race has been postponed, but we assure you that the race will happen, and runners who have already paid fees and cannot run on the newly scheduled date will have their fees refunded.
Therefore, on behalf of the committee, I would like to apologise for the cancellation, especially to those of you who have already made travel and accommodation plans. Unfortunately, these were circumstances which were beyond our control but we intend to make next year’s Boterekwa Marathon Event even more spectacular so I hope you can join us then.
